Best Things About Your Neighborhood: Altabrisa is a very quiet, clean, safe area. It is close to several malls and two large Wal-marts. My husband loves to walk during the day. It would probably be safe at night but we don’t walk at night. The Ubers come very quickly.
Favorite Green Spaces:
Public Transportation Access: 1-2 block walk
Best Things about Your Neighborhood: We love the tranquility of the area where our home is. However, we are very close to busy streets and when we use an Uber we get where we are going very quickly. We are in a long-term rental which we love except for the steps to the second floor. We have bought a home in Centro where we will be moving soon. We could not afford to buy a home in Altabrisa. We were fortunate to find a small, renovated home in Centro. I’m sure it will be less tranquil. I’m also sure we will not feel as comfortable walking on the streets, at least at first. However, we will be nearer to the center of the action in Merida!
Things you don’t like: There is nothing we do not like about Altabrisa.
